We're getting closer to escaping into civilization. Take a look at the Mobil sign in the background and get ready to shed some tears when you realise Americans are paying up to one pound twenty-five a gallon!



You know it's time to get out of Southern California when IKEA ads appear in Spanish.



You can just about make out a load of furniture on the pavement in front of the red car. We debated turning around to get another shot, but belive me, you wouldn't want to slow down for anything in this neighbourhood.
